Our Management Team
Mike Clabaugh
President
Mike Clabaugh is the co-founder and president of VisionQuest Alliance. Prior to
his work with missions, Mike spent 31 years in the corporate world with Cincinnati
Milacron, serving as
Vice President Machine Tools Europe
based in Birmingham,
England, and Group Vice President for Machine Tool Operations Worldwide at the
company’s headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. He was responsible for several strategic
alliances for Milacron ranging from acquisitions to establishing joint ventures in
India and China.
In 1997 Mike took an early retirement from Milacron to become the U.S. Director for
Greater Europe Mission as a volunteer and was appointed Executive Vice President
of Greater Europe Mission in 1999. He resigned his position with GEM in late 2001 to focus his attention
on VisionQuest Alliance, where he works full-time as a volunteer.
Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio State University
and an MBA from Xavier University of Cincinnati.

George Brown
Senior Vice President, Shared Advisory Services
George has played a key role in the development of the Shared Services Alliance concept that led to the formation of VisionQuest Alliance. After earning his BE and ME from Stevens Institute of Technology and his Th.M from Dallas Theological Seminary and working for several years in project and consulting engineering, George and his wife Cathy joined Greater Europe Mission in 1984 to begin a ministry of church planting in France. In 1992, George was asked to assume a management role in the administrative areas at Greater Europe Mission’s International Headquarters in Colorado.

Rob Davis
Chief Financial Officer - Director of Shared Financial Services
Rob’s expertise in building financial systems and directing ministry teams with Compassion International for almost two decades, prepared him for the daily challenge of providing the very best in financial services for our ministry clients. He oversees the Shared Financial Service team encompassing donor receipting, accounts payable, payroll, general ledger management, financial advisory services and customer service, adding a high level of professionalism and team building resources.
Prior to joining VisionQuest, Rob served Compassion as Area Director for Africa and Associate Director of Child Ministry. His previous financial roles with Compassion included Associate Director of Operations for Africa, Country Director for Kenya and Assistant Controller. Rob received a BA in accounting from the University of South Florida, and an MBA from the United States International University in Nairobi, Kenya.

Dick Armstrong
Vice President - Shared Human Resource Services
Dick provides a broad range of HR services to evangelical ministries. In addition to working with Youth for Christ and
Emerging Young Leaders in benefits and health insurance administration, Dick has an
extensive background in collaborating with other Christian organizations in
implementing better ways to approach difficult HR issues. He received his BA
from Taylor University and his MNM in Nonprofit Management from Regis University.

Steve Hoffman
Vice President - Shared Advancement Services
Steve is committed to assisting Christian ministries to be more effective through the development of clear ministry plans, compelling communications and relationally-based fund development. He earned a BA from Wheaton College and an MBA from Colorado State University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has completed William and Mary’s Planned Giving certificate program.

Anita Trapp
Director of Shared Software Services
After earning a BS and BMus from the Philadelphia Biblical University, Anita received her
MBA from Temple University. Anita brings more than 20 years of nonprofit management and
administrative experience including Director of Special Projects and Field Finance
Administrator for CrossWorld, a Christian non-profit church planting
organization with more than 400 employees in more than 24 countries.
Anita oversees the operations of Shared Software Services, including implementation, project management, training and assuring technical support meets the needs of our partners.

Keith Moore
Director of Software Development – Shared Software Services
Keith manages the information infrastructure for VisionQuest and its hosted partners. Additionally, he oversees software development and product support for all shared services divisions. Because of his extensive experience in software development and ministry, VisionQuest’s current software vendor consults with Keith in customizing programs to specifically benefit VisionQuest’s ministry partners. Before joining VisionQuest, Keith served as Director of Portal and Enterprise Implementation for Mission to the World, with the majority of his time located in France. Keith has an extensive background in small business entrepreneurship, where he learned the importance of discovering and improving best business practices.
